[chiglug] Meeting Update: October 22nd - Time TBD - Pumping Station: One

Hi All,

We're scheduling our next meeting for October 22nd at Pumping Station:
One*, though the exact time is still TBD. 

As you may have seen from a recent email from Meg, Matthew Garrett will
be speaking at this meeting. I'm sure that many of you are familiar with
his work, but in talking with folks, some of you haven't heard of him.
Going into his background in this email would be a bit much, so I'll
encourage you to check out his wikipedia page [0], his blog [1], and his
twitter account [2]. He is both knowledgeable about GNU/Linux, and is an
effective + entertaining speaker. We're lucky to have him giving a talk
with us.

We don't yet know his speaking topic, but should have details on that
soon. When we know what he'll be talking on, we'll be reaching out to
the group to see who may be interested in giving a talk on a
complimentary topic.

* I recently learned that PS:One signed a lease for some rooms adjacent
to the regular space, and this nearly doubles the size of PS:One. We'll
be working with the PS:One organizers to make sure we have a good-sized
space for this meeting (i.e., we may not be meeting in the regular
Electronics Lab).
